The Department of Community and Social Work, University of Pécs, Hungary, would like to invite our distinguished partners to attend an international conference on the Professionalization of Social Work to be held October 11th & 12th, 2018.
Participation is free of charge but prior registration is necessary (deadline for presenters: 7th September, 2018; deadline for participants only: 30th September 2018).
The conference aims to gather multinational expertise, provide a forum for multidisciplinary dialogues, promote the dissemination of research results, and generate best-practices in Social Work curriculum development.
The conference will cover a variety of themes, including presentations on the following topics:
- Evaluation of Social Work Curriculum Development
- Social Work across the Life-Span
- Addiction Studies
- Community Work/Community Development
- Social Work in the Labour market
- Regional Models from a Cross-cultural Perspective
Proposal ideas that extend beyond these thematic areas but may have relevance to the field will also be considered. Virtual participation is available for those who are unable to attend the conference in person (video presentations and e-poster presentations).
Conference languages: English and Hungarian. Translation is not available.
Prospective authors are invited to submit an abstract (maximum of 500 words) to firstname.lastname@example.org until 7th September, 2018. Authors will be informed of their acceptance on or before 14th September, 2018.
Abstracts for poster or oral presentations will be published in electronic form; selected papers will be published in a peer-reviewed conference proceeding, both in print and in electronic form.
